Could we get the ability to register the same character over an existing Merc & just have the Merc's visuals update? It's silly that we have to remove all the items & gear just to update the look to the newest one.

once new costumes come out, we'll have to go through the whole annoying process over again if we want to use the new look.

Also, resetting the stats & skills is weird. Might as well leave them what they were.

That's how it works now, contrary to description. That is; log on the guy you made the merc from, delete the merc, replace the same slot with the same character, and your stuff is intact.

I'm not sure you understand what I'm talking about. I currently have a Merc based on my Alt Bob. I give my Alt Bob a new outfit & I want update my Merc Bobs to look like Alt Bob. I can't do this without having to go through the whole gear-up, set-stats,make-build steps. I have to pull the stuff off the old Merc Bob, delete him & put it on the new Merc Bob. This is a waste of time.

Essentially there should be an "update" button for Mercs so you can set them to be the current look of your Character.

Didn't he just say that that's what happens if you follow the steps he posted?

OP doesn't want to do the hassling steps of deleting the merc, and instead just wants a function or button that will change the look of the merc hero to the current look of the character it was created from automatically.

tl;dr - OP wants the mercs to change their looks without having to delete and recreate them

I think that the items they carry won't be deleted when you delete the hero, excepting the profession-specific runes.

I don't know if there's a trick to keep even those.

That's what he said, but the wiki says you will lose stuff. I don't want to just try it out & hope it works.
